On the nose - red cherry and dark plum. Dusky rose and mulberry fruit supported by savoury smoky tones. Palate - rock (mineral) core with bright acidity, with a savoury texture. Salivating.

The clusters were de-stemmed into open vats where they were fermented naturally.Light extractions with foot plunge.Macerated one month post infused fermentation, then pressed off and settled.Wine was then racked into old oak barrelsAfter further racking, it was bottled un-fined and unfiltered.

How to Buy Our Wine
Summerhill Heights Vineyard currently only accepts payment via online banking. All prices are in New Zealand dollars.
Please email your order to summerhillheights@gmail.com and we will send you an invoice with our bank details.
Your order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.
IMPORTANT: Cost of SHIPPING will be ADDED to your order total. You may email us to provide the shipping cost prior to placing the order if you wish, as the cost varies considerably across New Zealand.
